My Personal Experience with Vitamin D and Magnesium
One fascinating personal experience shows the importance of magnesium and vitamin D metabolism. I was spending ~6 hours a day in the southern Florida sun (extremely high UV index) and after two months, got my vitamin D levels tested. I was SHOCKED.
Crazy enough, my levels were chronically low and I couldn’t figure out what the issue was. I dove into research – per usual – and found the connection with magnesium and vitamin D. No magnesium = no metabolism of vitamin D!
