This fall has been a real buster for the flu, cold and other illnesses here in Eastern Washington. I swear, each time I turn around someone else is sick and comes running to me for one of my “weird remedies”. They do know me well. It is one of the best things in life when I get to use God’s freaking amazing whole foods to help people with their health. Hit me up 😉 Anyways, today’s post is going to be all about Bragg Live Food Products. I’m sure you have heard of them but if you haven’t, you’re about to learn why you should have their products in your pantry. Let’s get started.
Bragg.
Since 1912, Bragg has created whole-food based products that are free from chemicals and other JUNK. The founders of this incredible company are Naturopathic Doctors and health activists. They couldn’t help but be crusaders for health in this unhealthy world. Every health food store, natural spa and health restaurant you walk into today is because of them. They started the revolution and they will continue to fight until everyone has the knowledge to make their own educated lifestyle choices. WOO, I’m right with them. Their fight encourages mine and reminds me why I do what I do: bust my butt to bring you the best health information there is. I want you to be empowered through education because you deserve it. Check them out here.

the goods.
I have been using Bragg products since I first started on this healthy journey which was a little less than 4 years ago. I will tell you now that their products have changed my health and have the ability to do the same for you. Their line of products range from apple cider vinegar to seasonings so, they have something for everyone. I will explain what each item below is used for but if you still have questions, comment below or email me!
Apple Cider All Natural Drinks – These drinks come in 7 refreshing flavors that have minimal ingredients. I was able to taste the concord-grape acai, apple cinnamon, honey and limeade. The ingredients look a little bit like this: pure distilled water, organic apple juice, organic ACV, cinnamon and honey. The best ways to have them is after a hard workout, on a hot day or in the morning when you wake up (warm it up!). Â What’s great it is that they aren’t from concentrate. Concentrate is a sneaky word for sugar laden!
Apple Cider Vinegar & Honey Blend – This therapeutic elixir is perfect for those days you need a little extra help digesting, when you feel a cold coming on or you simply want an immune boost. On the label you will see “with the mother” and this means it truly is fermented which is greatly beneficial for your gut health. Want to know the ingredients – Organic honey & organic raw ACV. You can add this blend into your smoothies, warm water with lemon, your or in stir-frys. The sky is the limit!
Organic Coconut Liquid Aminos – This all-purpose seasoning is free from all the unnecessary ingredients like MSG, soy and GMOS. It is also gluten-free which makes it an excellent alternative to soy sauce that contains wheat (but whyyyy). A little look into the ingredients shows us that they are the real deal: organic coconut tree sap, distilled water, sea salt, organic ACV. I love to have it over cauliflower rice with a few cashews. Other delicious recipes for coconut aminos is dressings, sauces, marinades, fish and casseroles!
Organic Sprinkle 24 Herbs & Spices Seasoning – First thing’s first, let’s check out these killer ingredients. Rosemary, onion, garlic, thyme red bell pepper, carrot, tomato, black pepper, parsley, organic EVOO, basil, tarragon, lemon peel, orange peel, organic ACV, vinegar, celery seed, dill seed, oregano, savory sage, ginger, coriander, bay leaf & turmeric. Are you still reading? DANG. This seasoning is freaking delicious on chicken, fish, roasted vegetables, kale and in soups. You’ve got to try this.
Nutritional Yeast Seasoning – This is a favorite of the Simplholistic blog and I use it every single day. If you are ever in need of B vitamins (which you most likely are), this is your long time friend with a ton of flavor. Just 1 T. has 180% of the recommended B1 which means you are going to have one happy body. Nutritional yeast is not brewers yeast. I repeat, NOT brewers yeast. Please, for the love of God, do not go eating brewers yeast haha. Nutritional yeast is a yellow flake that adds a cheesy flavor without the dairy. Yes, please.

I love Bragg products and use them a lot. I had never thought of putting the vinegar in my applesauce and will have to try that the next time I make some.
