This post for drinks like bulletproof hot chocolate has been a long time coming. I’m going to give you my top 3 bulletproof drink recipes and your world is going to be changed… exaggerated? I’d say. Seriously though, I love these drinks and they are a great way to kick start your morning, get an afternoon pick-me-up or wind down in the evening.
During the winter months, I would eat warming breakfasts and when I say warming breakfasts, I mean eggs haha. Since I currently cannot eat eggs, I had to find another breakfast love. I know there are a thousand other breakfast recipes, I just wanted my breakfast frittata! These bulletproof drinks are the best way to get some warming goodness into your belly. Plus, you can make so many different varieties of them. Savory, sweet, mellow, calming, mint, chocolate, you name it.
The craze over bulletproof hot chocolate
The fats in bulletproof hot chocolate are excellent for your brain and heart. Those are some of the fattiest parts of our bodies so, who says fat’s bad? They leave you satiated and get you all the way to lunch without a bajillion snacks! Adaptogens like ashwagandha, gelatinized maca and licorice root promote balance within the body and are some of my favorites. As always, get to know YOU and figure out which ones YOUR body needs. I can handle maca but you may not be able to. Don’t try to play doctor, hire a nutritionist (like me) or work with a naturally minded practitioner. Don’t gamble with your health.
\ think it’s safe to say anyone will love these and could benefit from trying them. They are even kid friendly because what kid doesn’t love a little chocolate milk? Add a little maple syrup or honey and they will never even know 😉 p.s. check out that missing nail polish below.. I tried so hard to be fancy..
