Cats outta the bag, I’m obsessed with this Hormone Healing Raw Milk Chocolate Milk. If you’re over on Instagram with me, a student in my course or spend any amount of time around me.. you know. I don’t go a single morning without it because it’s just THAT good. It’s right up there with the Hormone Healing Adrenal Cocktail I shared for you to try, too!

The hydrolyzed collagen + the raw milk nutrients + potassium in the maple syrup and copper in the cacao makes this the perfect hormone healing raw chocolate milk! GET ON IT!

The Science

If you’re new here, carbs aren’t the devil. We need them to function most optimally and I’m not here to argue with you. So, if you’re on your keto, low-carb, whatever train.. you can either have an open mind or find a keto blog. There are plenty. Not being harsh, just honest. But whenever you decide you want to get to the root of WHY you’re doing keto instead of masking it.. I’ll be here with open arms!

At a physiological level (the basics of our nature) we need carbohydrates to fuel everything. Our brain needs carbs, our cells need carbs and our liver needs carbs! I’m not saying go binge on sugar all day but I am saying we need adequate amounts of carbohydrates or the basic processes in our bodies will struggle HARD CORE. I’m talking fertility, cellular health, neurotransmitter activity, sleep, periods, etc.

This recipe provides a sweet sweet ratio of carbs, protein and fat. It leaves you satiated, nourished and well.

So excited to have found your blog as I am early into my wellness journey. Can you explain what “raw milk” is? I’m guessing it means unpasteurized? Where do you find it?

    • Ashlee says:

Yes, unpasteurized. Depending on where you live, you can get it at natural food stores, farmers markets, local farms themselves. 🙂

  2. Haley says:

So do you not heat up the raw milk? Only the water?

  3. Sari says:

I love chocolate milk and this healthy version is delicious!! I have been craving milk lately and my cow just freshened so I am excited to be able to make this regularly. Thank you for the recipe!

  4. Michelle says:

Are there any good alternatives to raw milk? Currently I live in Germany where there is a dairy just around the corner that sells raw milk (€1/liter!), but in October I’ll be moving to Greece where raw milk is illegal.

Pain-free cycles, peaceful pregnancy, healthy clear skin and actually feeling warm were far off dreams for me just 3 years ago. I couldn’t even imagine having a glass of raw milk or enjoying a bowl of garden salsa (it made me bloated just thinking about it!). Worst of all, I was unsure if I’d ever get to start a family.
